What is Cryo Power Sculpture?
Cryo power sculpture is a popular procedure for effectively eliminating excess fat known as Cryolipolysis. Cryolipolysis, refferd to as "fat freezing" or "cool sculpting," is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that involves the targeted cooling of fat cells to induce their apoptosis (cell death) without causing damage to surrounding tissues. The idea behind cryolipolysis is based on the observation that fat cells are more vulnerable to cold temperatures than surrounding tissues.
How does it work?
The immediate drop in temperature will initiate apoptosis once the fat cells have cooled to the temperature at which they can no longer sustain themselves. Once this cell death has been initiated, the fat cells will convert to cellular debris, to be cycled through the lymphatic system over the following in one - two weeks. Clients see some immediate “slimming” and skin tightening effects. Optimal, longer-lasting results will be seen at the several sessions.
